OUR PROGRAM

Since its establishment, BLF has conducted several activities with actions at the local, national as well as international cooperation. Cooperation at the national level is to be conducted through raising the awareness of the environment nationally and network communication. In the same manner, cooperation at the international level is to be established through network communication which will continue to be improved in future activities.

Efforts of building awareness at the local or regional level is conducted through the relevant institution or agency or through direct activities for awareness building such as tree planting, land rehabilitation, display of banners of care to the environment and conveyance of environmental issues to the community using persuasive or mass approaches.

This organization undertakes to initiate positive activities for the environment more intensively in the future through environmental education in schools, worship places, community groups and environmental movements on the basis of awareness building at small levels of the family up to the village level.

Our main focus in the four-year period of 2009-2013 rest upon three major programs:

1. Planning for the development and empowerment of the community’s economy with environmental perspective.
   
2. Real action together with the community in maintaining and preserving the environment.
